Valentine's Day

I woke up at 7 AM and told my mom "Happy Valentine's Day!" We wrote thank-you cards for the casting director and director of the AT&T commercial. We made a deal about homeschool and I got the day off. I got to go to swim practice. They gave us cookies and brownies for Valentine's Day. I went to the movies and saw Star Wars 3D The Phantom Menace with my mom for Valentine's Day. The movie was really good. I got to eat nachos and drink root beer. My favorite part was when Anakin Skywalker kept shooting the droids in the ship. It was really cool in 3D. I got to stay up really late. The movie ended at 10:30 at night. I really hope I get an audition soon so I can tell you about it. 

Weekend Fun

Saturday

I had a lazy morning because we got back from the commercial so late. We stayed in bed and in our pjs until lunch. We went to the Olive Garden for an early dinner. I ate half of the salad that they bring out. The breadsticks were really good. Mom shared some of her shrimp with me. Then we went to Chick fil A so I got something to drink. Then I went to play in the play land. I met 8 friends. It was a lot of fun!

Sunday

I went to go eat breakfast with my mom's friend from high school Tiffany. I ordered some pancakes and I shared with my mom. I also got a hot chocolate. Tiffany lives in Los Angeles and is a lawyer. She has a R2D2 key chain. She was really nice. Then we hung out at the hotel and I got to play Star Wars The Force Unleashed. I love that game.

Friday I filmed my commercial. We had to drive really far to get there. It filmed at a local elementary school past Los Angeles. They had a lot of fruit that I like to eat for breakfast. I didn't get much food because we had to hurry to wardrobe. I had to try on three outfits. Then I went to makeup and they only had to put lip balm on me. The lady said I had perfect skin and that my mom did a good job on my hair. Then the script writer came over to practice my interview (by the way an interview is when you talk to someone when they ask you about things). Then I had to go do my interview for real.

It was actually really fun. The crew kept laughing at my answers because I'm funny. It was a lot of improv (improv means there isn't a script and that you have to make up your own lines that make sense). Sometimes the director gave me lines to repeat and sometimes I got to make up my own answers. We did homeschool after my interview. I didn't get to finish it because then I had to do my panel (there were 4 kids with an interviewer and we did improv again).

Lunch was actually very good. The bar-b-que people cooked really good food. They brought us really good cookies and shakes. I didn't get a shake because they ran out.

At the end of the day we filmed the classroom scene. It was really late and I had worked a lot. I was on was on my feet for quite awhile. I got to sit down though when they said "cut!". We got back to the hotel at 8 at night after leaving at 6:30 in the morning. It was a long day!

Another Booking

Tuesday

Philip my agent called my mom and said I got a part in a commercial. I will film it Friday and maybe on Saturday. I am actually really happy about it. That makes two bookings for me so far. Hopefully I get even more before I leave.

We went to Taco Bell for dinner. I got a quesadilla. By the way it was really spicy. They aren't usually spicy. So I ate it for breakfast cold on Wednesday.

We also went grocery shopping. We got some cupcakes for when I do good at swim practice. I got one three times so far.

I also watched Glee. It was very good.

I can't wait to film my commercial!

Monday Madness

Sunday I brought my dad and sissy to the airport. I was sad to see them go home.

Monday I had a call-back audition and an audition for an episode of Modern Family. I had the call-back first. There was crazy traffic and mom couldn't find a parking spot. Mom was stressed over making both auditions on time with the traffic. The call-back was for a commercial. In the audition we were talking about sports. I picked Florida State over Mississippi State in basketball. There were a lot of kids there.

For my other audition I got to see Fox studios. Where they film a lot of tv shows I watch. For that audition I got to read a scene with the casting director. It was my first audition I had to learn lines for. It was a lot of fun! We didn't get back to the hotel until close to 8 at night because traffic was so bad. We slept in on Tuesday because we were so tired!

Family Reunion Part II

Saturday

We went to Huntington Beach in the morning. We ate at the 2nd Floor restaurant and I got a sundae. The food was slamming (by the way slamming means really good). We got to watch some surfers surf on the pier. There were lots of good surfers out there. They were on their boards standing up and doing cool tricks. As we left we saw a guy put a nail into his head. That was his grand finale. It was very awesome.

We ate at Chick fil A. They have an awesome play land here. I met several new friends and my sister was playing with me. She likes the slide the best. The slide is actually really good. Sissy cried a lot when we had to leave. She really liked the play land.  I was very sad to leave too.

Family Reunion

My Dad flew in Thursday night. We hung out until bed. The baby missed me the most. Friday we went to see my agents. They are really nice and my dad got to finally meet them. We went to Kat Von Dee's tattoo studio. I took pictures with my dad. Then we went Capital Records. They have Beatles stuff and by the way The Beatles are a band. We went to the Rock Walk in Hollywood. That is where famous musicians have their handprints and me and dad saw Hollywood stars. We found The Beatles stars. We saw Paramount Studios. We also went to the Samuel French bookstore. That is a bookstore lots of famous people shop there for acting books. I got an audition log so I can keep track of my auditions. We ate dinner at the Olive Garden. I found out I have an audition for a co-star part in a an episode of a major tv sitcom! I'm so excited!

Saturday

Gi-Gi Ma went home. We had lunch with my friend Megan. She brought her friend Haley. Megan and Haley are actresses out here. They play temple run like me. I had a lot of fun with them. We talked and saw the Hollywood sign. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. I got a quesadilla from Taco Bell for dinner because there was traffic and we got back late.

Sunday

I went to church at Vineyard Anaheim by my hotel. I went to the kids church. I made a new best friend. We had to pray for one person in our group. We did worship as a group and I didn't know the songs. My mom didn't like the adult service. We will go to a different church this week. I hope I get more auditions this week and get to book something. I have a lot of fun at auditions.

Thursday

I got to spend time with my Gi-Gi Ma. We got to go eat at Chilis. I got a red icee. I went to swim practice again. I like my coach. I got to see a water polo match before practice started.

Friday

Friday was my birthday. We got to to go McDonald's for lunch. I was terrified in the play land. I thought I weighed too much for the pieces up high. I got to get a shake. Then Gi-Gi Ma and mom got a shake from Chick-fil-A. We spent the night at the hotel.

Tuesday -

We went to go see We Bought A Zoo. It was really good but there were sad parts and happy parts to it. Mom had to keep leaving because Philip, one of my agents was calling us. He called to tell us that the production people for the Jason Mraz "I won't give up" audition called and it was down to me and 1 or 2 other kids for the part. Then he called back and said that I booked it! Oh by the way booking means that you got the part. We celebrated, my mom was very happy for me, Gi Gi Ma bought us some Chick-fil-A shakes. We went to bed really early because I had an early call time.

Wednesday-

We got up at 4:45 in the morning. We had to be on the set for 6:30. We got to the parking location and we got to ride a shuttle to the location. We went to a house in the middle of nowhere. I met a new friend named Luc (Luke). He is 7 and he lives in Orange County, CA. We went to wardrobe and I got to wear my own clothes (Oh by the way, wardrobe is where they pick our clothes and help us get ready to be on camera). The wardrobe ladies Tara and Mauria were very nice. I got to play Madden on set. We had to wait A LOT. We got to watch Jason Mraz film his parts while we were waiting. I filmed my part in the house. I got to look through a fish bowl and touch a fish. The director was really nice and I had fun working with him. I got to talk to Jason Mraz and he took a picture with me. We finished filming at 1:00. Then I got to go swim with my swim team out here. I was really tired but I got over it. I met a new friend named Maddie.

Auditions! - The day that we got splashed.

We had to RUSH! We made it to my 1st audition. It was for a Jason Mraz music video for his song I won't give up. I had to look at the camera with a serious face while the song was playing. Then we went to my DirecTV audition.  I had to talk to the casting director about myself. I hope I get them!

We got splashed by a car walking down the sidewalk. Then we met GiGi Ma at the Chevron. We had to use the bathroom there. We got to eat at the Olive Garden but I was not feeling good. Luckily I got some good sleep last night.

My first weekend in LA

Saturday we went to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks Chipwrecked. The movie was very good. I liked when the volcano exploded. Then we went to go get ice cream at Chick-fil-A. It was very good. Then we came back to the hotel and I watched Spongebob Frozen Face-Off.

On Sunday, we watched the NY Giants vs San Francisco 49ers game. I was cheering for the Giants. I ate Ramen noodles. They are very good. I love them. My mom ate them with me. We just stayed at the hotel all day. 

Tomorrow I have an audition at 3:30. I should know by Tuesday if I got it. If I got it I will film on Wednesday. I will hear about my commercial audition at the end of the week.

Day 4 in LA

I got the sixth novel in the Captain Underpants series at Barnes and Noble with my mom. Then we went to my audition after we got ready at the hotel. It was for a commercial and I had a lot of fun. I hope I get it! We won't know if I got a callback until next week. We saw the Hollywood sign again on the way to my audition.

We sat in a lot of traffic on the way home until we got to 91W. In the HOV lanes we went really fast but I-5 doesn't have an HOV lane. An HOV lane is for cars with 2 people or more. They go fast when other cars are in traffic.

LA Day 2

Yesterday, we saw the Hollywood sign! Mom took a picture of me pretending to sleep on a hard bed. It really hurt. We walked down Hollywood Blvd. We saw Mickey Mouse's star. We went to the Chinese theater. We passed Warner Bro. studio and their water tower. We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. We met Ms. Mandy and her friend Fallon for lunch. I got a big brownie desert to share with my mom. They had a cool elephant statue.

Day 1 in LA

I got dirty at the park. The slides were full of water and dirt. I thought that they weren't. Even though they were dirty, I still had fun. 

Anyway, I had fun doing my homeschool. We did two hours yesterday since it was a holiday. I got Captain Underpants books to read. I love Captain Underpants. I did a play for my mom about a story in my reading book. I have my own desk to do my work in.

I got my headshots in the mail yesterday. 

  

Today we will have fun. We have to go to the bank to deposit money in my trust fund. Later, we will spend time in Los Angeles with Miss Mandy.

Day 3 - Finally in Anaheim

We saw lots of cacti! I got a picture of one. My mom was nervous driving. The hotel is very nice in Anaheim. We bought things for the hotel at Walmart. I was happy that we bought bananas and waffles. We have a kitchen in our room so we can cook. I placed food in the kitchen. We don't have Disney channel but I watched ESPN and cartoon network. On cartoon network I have my favorite shows to watch. Tomorrow we are going to Los Angeles with Mrs. Mandy to shop. There is a park by the hotel we will get to go to this week. Tuesday I start my homeschool.

Our Trip To LA - Day 1 & 2

We passed by the desert. We got to see a cactus. We were in a snake territory. Some of the rocks were a million years old but some of them were new. Finally we were in Arizona! I met a new best buddy named Mr. Mike. He is my mom and dad's old friend and now me. The desert was fun but Arizona was better! I had so much fun watching my movies on the DVD player. Today we will be in Los Angeles and we are going to see the stars with the people's names later this week.
